US Based Financial Planner

We are looking for an experienced US-based financial adviser, ideally with a small transferable client bank, to join our growing team.

Perhaps you are a self-employed solo adviser who wants to be a part of something bigger.

At T&T USA we provide cross-border retirement planning alongside UK:US investment management to successful British expatriates living across America. This is a rewarding niche to serve, we believe we have a unique service proposition, and we are looking for an adviser to help us meet new client demand.

This is an opportunity to join a growing, ambitious firm at the ground floor, help build something special and ultimately take a stake in the entity and have a real say in your future.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with cross-border experience, but we will consider strong candidates without such experience.

UK Based Paraplanner (with extensive pension transfer experience)

The is a unique and exciting opportunity for a highly qualified and experienced UK financial planner to be a part of building our new UK company from the ground up.

This is a hybrid role, with 50% spent managing the UK pension transfer from start to finish for every adviser in the company globally (eventually, this will require building and managing a team) and 50% of time spent supporting the UK financial planners to establish and build the UK business, including designing and implementing systems and processes. 

This is a very wide remit with a lot of responsibility and as such we are looking for very highly qualified and experienced paraplanners. The role is likely to be office based, at least partially, so ideally candidates will be based in or around London. However, we have always embraced remote working as a company and if you think you would be perfect for this role, but you aren't based in the SE please do still get in touch and be sure to tell us why you think you'd be good for the role. 

UK Based Financial Planner

We are looking for an experienced UK-based financial planner with a transferable client bank to help launch our UK business. 

Perhaps you are a self-employed solo adviser who wants to be a part of - and be instrumental in building - something bigger.

At T&T USA we provide cross-border retirement planning alongside UK:US investment management to successful British expatriates living across America. This is a rewarding niche to serve but inevitably some of our clients return to the UK and we want to be able to continue offering the same specialised, planning focused proposition they are used to. Furthermore, there are many US connected people in the UK in need of the kind of US conscious planning and investment advice that we specialise in and we want you to help us build a business catering to these people.

No cross border experience is necessary for this role, but we are looking for committed Lifestyle / Life-Centered Financial Planners (from the Paul Armson and Mitch Anthony school of thought - if you do not know either of these names then this probably isn't the right role for you).

US Based Executive Assistant (Part Time)

We are looking for a part time, office based Executive Assistance to support the CEO and President of this small, but fast growing company. 

The ideal candidate will be extremely organised and task focused, whilst also being comfortable communicating directly with colleagues and even clients in a professional manner. We need a self starter who has no trouble taking the initiative and rolling up their sleeves and getting involved in whatever needs doing in that moment. 

Our head office is currently Rye, NY, but will likely move to Greenwich, CT in 2021. The role is part time (c. 20 hours per week) and flexible. Whilst you will be expect to be mostly office based (alongside the CEO) and we are looking for someone to work weekday mornings, the specific hours can be set according to the candidate's preference. 

US Based Tax Professional

We are looking for someone with experience in tax, and specifically tax preparation and filing, to help us launch a new business offering tax return preparation and some additional services to our clients. Currently, we envisage the role to focus on managing the processes and provide a very high level of service to our clients, but not the actual sign off of the tax returns (which will be done by a third party EA/CPA).  

This will be a new business and thus there is significant scope for the right candidate to exert influence on the model, remuneration structure and their working environment.

This role can be based from anywhere and working hours can to a large extend be driven by you. Perfect for a parent looking to get back into work, but mostly on their own terms. 

There is significant scope for growth in this role, as the wider business and our client base grows. So we are looking for an ambitious and conscientious professional who is comfortable taking the initiative. 

US Based Investment Adviser

We are looking for an experienced US-based investment adviser, ideally with a small transferable client bank, to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will be a CFA or studying towards their CFA designation. Whilst this role will involve building a client bank and providing a high level of ongoing service, this has potential to turn into a full time CIO role. 

We are looking for someone with a passion for investing as a supporting function to Life-Centered Financial Planning, who agrees with our investment philosophy (see here) and who is a superb written and spoken communicator, because a big part of the role will be regular communication with our clients and prospective clients (i.e. blogs, articles, videos, podcasts etc.).

Head of Marketing (Part Time)

We are looking for a UK based Head of Marketing with a broad base of knowledge and expertise to help us develop, finesse and perfect our marketing and lead generation plan. The successful candidate will have expertise in the strategy and implementation - including managing external agency specialists where needed - of the following:

  • Strategic Thinking 
  • Graphic Design 
  • Web Copy & Design
  • Hubspot Expertise
  • GDPR Expertise
  • SEO
  • Google Ads
  • Facebook Ads
  • Linkedin Ads

Financial services experience would be a plus, but is not a deal breaker. 

This role can be based from anywhere and will be to design, build and implement the marketing and lead generation plan for the entire Group - US and UK.  We are looking for someone to work c.20 hours per week on a schedule that can be built around their preferences/obligations.
